Wentworth was another Vizsla loved by his human Mum but when a baby was born, after a few months of trying to find time for him, and look after the new baby, it was too much for her. Wentworth is a lovely young boy, about 18 months old when he came into our care and he had such a loving temperament it was easy to match him with a family on our waiting list.
So in Mid October his new life began, and he has settled so well and is adored by his adopters, Jed and Sandy and their two sons, as you can see from the pictures! Here are a few words from the family
“One sunny Saturday afternoon in October a ginger rocket arrived at our house. To say he turned our lives upside down is an understatement! At first my two boys, aged 9 and 7, were a little worried that he may never stop bouncing, but within hours they were encouraging him to jump around the garden with them. It’s been a little over a month now that Mr W (as he is affectionately known) has been in our home and I can honestly say it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. We are healthier, happier and have a gorgeous dog who we adore and in return, adores us.
We thought long and hard before getting a dog, and when we decided to rehome through the Hungarian Viszla Welfare Charity we knew we had made the right choice. HVWC made sure we were the right family for our ginger and provided a community of Viszla lovers that we can call on for all kinds of help and support. We are blessed with a beautiful dog who was loved in his old home but circumstances meant he needed to find a new forever home – and we count our lucky stars that it was us! Now do excuse me – I have a tummy to rub…”
There are several ways you can support the charity, and not just by adopting or fostering a Vizsla.
