The charity’s workload is ever increasing… As more pups are being bred, correspondingly Welfare are being asked to help more and more owners, and often there is a need for urgent action to ensure dogs are quickly removed to a safe environment.

Calm, experienced, and unflappable fosterers are always desperately needed, sometimes only for a few days, sometimes for much longer. If you own a Vizsla or have previously done so and are interested in becoming a fosterer for us then please have a read through our fostering information and fill in our fostering form.

If all is well, you will be added to our database of available foster homes. The more widely spread our network, the more quickly we will be able to step in and help Vizslas in need.

Fostering is not for the faint hearted, sometimes the dogs are quite easy but more often they are not. They might need a lot of attention, and training, and patience, so you will have to be prepared for that and willing to put in some hard work.

But it can be the most rewarding experience to see a troubled or difficult dog settle in, and blossom, and then move on to their forever home.
